‘KL Tower International Jump Malaysia 2019 is Back With Different Locations

THE
SERIES OF BASE JUMP EVENTS IN MALAYSIA FOR 2019
KL
Tower has been organizing the KL Tower International Jump Malaysia (KLTIJM) for
18 successful years and has attracted jumpers from all over the world. The
event has become the most significant and signature event for KL Tower
particularly and Malaysia generally.
There
are only two towers in the world organizing this international BASE jump events,
i.e Tallinn TV Tower Estonia and KL Tower Malaysia. KL Tower has become a
benchmark to the other BASE Jump event organizers in the world as we are
strictly take safety as our utmost priority and the event technical managed by
the experts.
This
year, the technical aspects of the event organization will be managed by
‘ABABIL BASE JUMP CLUB’. This club consists of members from the local BASE
Jumpers who are high experience and full skills in coordinating and managing
technical flow of the event.
This
year, KL Tower is proud to announce that the KL Tower International Jump
Malaysia will be part of a series of BASE jump events in Malaysia for 2019. This
BASE jump event will promote 4 event locations to provide BASE jumpers an
opportunity to experience the challenge and uniqueness of these locations. Amongst
the locations are:
- Menara
Alor Setar International Jump @ Menara Alor Setar, 11 – 13 September 2019
(jump from 105 meters height)
- Gua Damai International BASE Jump @ Gua Damai, Batu Caves, 15 – 17 September 2019 (jump from 100 meters height)
- Sibu
International BASE Jumps @ Wisma Sanyan, Sibu, 19 – 22 September 2019
(jump from 125 meters height)
- KL Tower
International Jump Malaysia 2019 @ Menara Kuala Lumpur, 26 – 29 September
2019 (jump from 300 meters height)
The
adrenaline pumping actions will start at Menara Alor Setar where the jumpers
will jump from the Sky Deck at the height of 105 meters above sea level and
will be landing at Taman Jubli nearby.
The
series will end at KL Tower for KL Tower International Jump Malaysia 2019 which
is entering its 19th year this year, will showcase exciting and jump actions
for the viewing pleasure of KL Tower’s visitors especially when they sitting on
the edge of the Sky Deck.

annual event is held with the aim of offering BASE jump enthusiasts with the
opportunity to jump off Menara Alor Setar, Gua Damai at Batu Caves, Wisma
Sanyan in Sibu and KL Tower. This activity will put Malaysia on international
tourism maps as destinations for extreme sport tourism activities. It will help
to woo the ‘VISIT TRULY ASIA MALAYSIA 2020’ promotion to local and

sports events and all of these international sporting events is beneficial to
both society and country. This series of BASE jump events is hoped will be the
main tourism products for Malaysia especially in promoting ‘Visit Truly Asia
Malaysia 2020’ and we are seeking your supports especially members of media to
promote it locally and internationally.” he added.

icon and prominent landmark recognized by the world, a myriad of interesting
and unique experience offered to the visitors, KL Tower is once again offering
a special package ‘Sitting On The Edge’
to the visitors. Visitors will get to see, up close the jumpers in actions at
the jump point either day or night time.
This
is the only time of the year when visitors experience the adrenaline rush of
standing on top of the world are allowed to sit on the edge of the Sky Deck,
where the jumpers make their jump actions. Visitors can capture the memorable
moments under their feet and enjoy the scenic view of the Kuala Lumpur city at
the height of 300 meters above the ground level.
